Glam metal legends Motley Crue announce the inaugural Crue Fest, a touring package featuring Buckcherry, Trapt, Papa Roach and Sixx: A.M.
Okay, so the last time I saw da Crue, the tightest thing about the band was Vince Neil's waistband. This inaugural Crue Fest thing also boasts a pretty weak line-up. I'll give them Buckcherry and concede that Crue fans will at least have an interest in Nikki Sixx's Sixx:A.M. project but...Trapt? Papa Roach? What were their advisers thinking?
All that said, to some degree the support doesn't really matter that much. This isn't Alien Ant Farm we're talking about. This is Motley f***ing Crue and if they haven't tarnished their legend by now they're certainly not going to do irreparable harm with this.
Just as exciting for Crue Fans is the fact that they're also releasing their first album with the original line-up for over a decade in Saints Of Los Angeles, apparently based on riotous autobiography The Dirt.
Now get your fingers out and sort a European leg, you big girls' blouses.
